RENDERING AND VIDEO:

MAISON CITROHAN BY LE CORBUSIER

Class: 4.502 - Architecture in Motion Graphics

This piece is designed to give the viewer a compelling sense of space through rendering and camera movement. The setting of the narrative is the Maison Citrohan design by Le Corbusier. The design was influenced heavily by the effects of World War I, and the space was envisioned to provide an uplifting solution to the chaos resulting from the war. With this in mind, the narrative I wanted to convey through populating the Citrohan House with furniture and material is that of a peaceful and comfortable space that feels like home. Through the panning camera movements and the calm piano music, the atmosphere I aimed to create has a calm and even drowsy feeling, like that of sitting on a couch at home with a cup of coffee on a Saturday afternoon.

INTERACTIVE ENVIRONMENT:

PERSONAL NARRATIVE WALKTHROUGH

Class: 4.502

Programs: Unity, Rhinoceros, 3Ds Max

This video walks through an environment that is designed and modeled around my own personal life narrative. Each space or room in the environment contains objects that are associated with different stages and seasons of life.
