After my group and I discovered that the plastic sheet could be melted onto the peg board to create interesting forms and structures, we began testing the way that different incisions on the plastic would react when the plastic was melting. We created intentional cuts on the plastic in between pegs and melted the plastic onto the peg board. We discovered that the cuts would open up into elongated holes when the plastic melted, which created some very interesting architectural structures that resembled pavilions.
